Our apartment is a duplex, located on the second and third (top) floors of a small apartment building at the entrance to the village. The apartment has 3 bedrooms (1 full double,1 smaller double and 1 twin) and two bathrooms. Accommodation is arranged over 2 floors, each floor having it’s own bathroom and patio / terrace.

The apartment is bright and airy, is very comfortably and sympathetically furnished and commands spectacular unobstructed views over the Sierra Almijara nature reserve and down towards the sea in Nerja.

The apartment has Internet (WIFI) throughout, satellite and cable TV with some English speaking channels, as well as IPTV, in the lounge.

About the neighbourhood
The apartment is situated at the entrance to the beautiful village of Frigiliana which is a small, picturesque and friendly mountain village full of beautiful cobbled streets, interesting craft shops and numerous wonderful bars and restaurants.

The village is set just 6 km inland (€1 on the bus!) from the lively coastal town of Nerja with it’s many fine sandy beaches, shops, restaurants and bars.

There are also numerous food, craft and artisan shops selling local foods (including the famous local honey), wines, beers & crafts. There is a craft beer shop (selling the local ‘La Xarca’ beer among others), and a dedicated store selling exclusively locally produced chocolate.
Getting around
While many roads in the town are accessible by car, Frigiliana is best navigated on foot. Our village is in the hills and lots of the roads have steep inclines and declines so walking is therefore the perfect way to explore this beautiful village.

There are no end of wandering streets, with bustling restaurants and bars, many with outdoor space to sit and watch the world go by when the sun shines, which it does most of the year.

Airport: Malaga - Aeropuerto de Málaga-Costa del Sol (AGP): 70.0 km
The village is a walkers paradise, with lots of vaulted cobbled streets and is set among rolling hills providing perfect walking opportunities.

There are many guided walks available that start in or go through the village.

Getting from the airport is an easy 45 minutes drive along the motorway, with the last 6 kilometres along a safe and picturesque (but windy!) road to the village.

Although a car is recommended for seeing the sights and towns in the surrounding countryside, it is not essential as transport from the airport is easily arranged by bus or taxi if you don't feel like driving.
