Interaction with guests
Hershey and I live in the -A- side so when you are staying with us we will usually be around. You'll have time and space to yourselves in your room. If you'd care to have the livingroom to yourselves I don't mind staying up in my room or going out for awhile now and then. The homeshre option is good to save money, get to have a house to use and have a conversation/meals with me if you want or on your own. Feel welcome and mi casa et su casa when you are my guest!

About the neighbourhood
I'm on the side of the mountain on the way up towards Pico and Killington. My house is on a relatively quiet street. I have neighbors but you really don't notice or see their houses.
My home is about a 5 minute drive into downtown Rutland City.
There are mountain views from all windows of my house for 8 months of the year.
This is a tourist area with much to see and do.
During the Autumn many people come to see the beautiful world famous Vermont Foliage.
Vermont is famous for skiing too and I am only 20 minutes to the top of Killington Mountain- 'The Beast of the East' !! it is the largest ski area in the United States East of Aspen,CO.
Getting around
Bus stop 1 mile from my house. I have bicycles that you may use while you visit.
Amtrak is about 3 miles down the road and the Rutland regional airport is a 15 minute drive.
Taxi service here is not too reliable !
