Greenstone Farm is fortunate to occupy a unique 80 Acre parcel of land in the heart of the Howqua Valley which takes in a magnificent 1.3 km sweep of private river frontage. The house sits on a ridge with commanding valley views and the rear boundary abuts State Forest and Alpine National Park; a magnificent area to explore. Just being there, watching the Kangaroos and the wildlife and breathing the fresh mountain air, is an experience of a lifetime. If you want some action, the recreational opportunities within the property, and at your doorstep, offer something for everyone The house is architect designed to take full advantage of the magnificent position. We fully enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious, nicely decorated. Great for kids and adults. The river near by is a big bonus especially in summer. The host is very helpful. We would come back and recommend our friends.

How to get there
If you are using a GPS or similar, we advise putting in Mansfield and then 325 Howqua River Road, Howqua, Victoria 3723 as sometimes they can lead you in the back way, which although shorter in kilometers, the roads are gravel, extremely rough and only suitable for 4WD’s. Take the Mt Buller/Jamieson Road out of Mansfield, turn right signposted Jamieson (C511)s Mansfield Airport is at the corner. You will pass Mansfield Zoo, Gough’s Bay and Mac’s Cove turn offs. After 23kms of winding road you will go across the Howqua River Bridge. Turn left down Howqua River Rd signposted Sambar Park/Greenstone Trees, we are 3.25kms on left past Camp Howqua and just past sharp left hand bend.
