As you enter this cottage you can feel the sense of history derived from all salvaged and saved building materials such as the leadlight windows from an old homestead and restored to feature either side of the fireplace. Even the dining table and chairs originate from a Methodist Church built in 1865, and the main pole supporting the loft was saved from the Seppelts Winery, Great Western. The Stone Cottage is tucked away at the end of the property, leaving you with a private retreat and has a large loft bedroom creating more space for you to relax or bring friends and family to stay. Stone cottage is a perfect getaway in the Grampians. It encompasses eco friendly sustainable living with the beauty of nature and wildlife. The cottage is very comfortable and immaculately clean. I only wish we could stay longer.

The stone house is exactly what I expected. Private, cosy and surrounded by beautiful bushland with lots wild animals. 10 out of 10 and we will be back!

The Cottages are next door to the Halls Gap Zoo and near to Fallen Giants Winery. The Grampians National Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty with many walk tracks and waterfalls to visit whilst based here at the cottages. Halls Gap the town has a number of restaurants and shops to service your needs.

There is limited public transport and a car / motorbike we will required to explore the surrounding park and towns.
