Country Getaway!! 30 minutes from The Great Ocean Road..
Why stay in a loud noisy tourist trap on the Great Ocean Road with everyone else when you can enjoy a peaceful getaway just 30 minutes up the road? We enjoyed a beautiful couple of nights at Cobden Crest Cottages mid last week. It was a serene and scenic stopover on our Victorian road trip. Gorgeous hospitality provided by the lovely owners with fresh homemade bread on the counter and breakfast bits in the fridge on arrival. The view was too perfect. Watching the sun set over the hill while enjoying a glass of bubbles purchased the day before at a Victorian vineyard was a highlight on our trip. I would recommend this cottage to anyone - couples, families, friends, even a solo traveller looking to escape the hustle and bustle for a few days. Various activities to entertain you on the property and with the Great Ocean Road and local historic towns to explore it makes for a lovely weekender!

STORM
All was going well, accommodation good, location good, facilities good, breakfast supplies, excellent especially the home baked bread. Then second night a storm which brought a power cut but apart from being a little inconvenient it did not spoil a great stay. RB

Amazing family friendly accommodation
We had a fantastic long weekend at this property. It's an old place, no doubt, but well cared for and spotlessly clean.
Breakfast provided was amazing, fresh baked bread, milk, juice, doz fresh eggs, cereal, couldn't have asked for anything more.
All linen, comfortable beds, the kids loved the teddies, games room was great and informative. Lots to read.
The most well-stocked kitchen (pans, pots and plates etc). Shower was great (great water pressure and heat).
Everything had been thought of. Roaring fire when we arrived! Well done!
