Our family holiday home is suitable for mature age groups and family groups - children very welcome. This home offers quality and comfort in a quiet residential street near the village and provides all the comforts of home including bed linen, bath towels & basic toiletries.
Accommodates 8 people - queen bedrooms x 2, bunkroom x 1 and 2 bathrooms.
Outdoor dining and seating in extra large upstairs covered deck with patio blinds and treed views. Within short walking distance to village shops, cafes, river walks and main beach.
Family friendly with lots of extras to discover in this property such as recreation room with pool table, children's activities, Foxtel TV and free wifi internet. Secure rear yard and locked storage for bikes and wet items.

TRULY PERFECTION
Wow - there are so many words to describe Barrakee Beach house, amazing, elaborate, harmonious, faultless, immaculate, spotless, remarkable :) It was a delight to take my daughter, daughter-in-law and grand children away for a quick get away as we all live locally. Everything provided was exceptional, all linen, towels supplied is an extra bonus. Captivating smiles on my grand children faces when they saw the toy cupboard kept them entertained for many hours. Our appreciation for an unforgettable stay is my grand daughter saying "Nan can we come back again"

Everything you could possibly need...and more.
The perfect location, house and amenities. Our extended family (from 6 to 70) all loved it. Owners very accommodating and quick to respond to messages. The house is very thoughtfully and tastefully presented with something for everyone. Felt very welcome and comfortable from the minute we walked in. A most relaxing holiday.

Home Away From Home
What can we say. This home is a fabulous place to have a family getaway. Which is exactly what we did. Celebrating my granddaughters 1st Birthday. Glenys has the home equipped with absolutely everything you need. Beautiful bedding & comfortable beds.
Glenys is an absolute pleasure to deal with & we would definitely be back. If I could give 6 stars would. Have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful property!

It's Got The Lot
What a find. Hosts who provide everything you could need and more with personal touches to make us welcome. A great house, spotlessly presented and close to the Anglesea shops. Highly recommend ,we will definitely re- visit. Helpful hints from the host were appreciated.

All we had to do was unpack and relax
We are so grateful to Glenys and Louise for allowing us to enjoy a weekend at Barrakee- a beautiful home with a relaxed ambiance, that has been so thoughtfully equipped that you want for nothing... spotless presentation, comfortable beds with fresh high quality linen, ample space for families with different living zones, great location close to shops, restaurants, nurseries and the amazing coast line. Wonderful relaxing family getaway
WOW. Beautiful home modern spacious,clean. So welcoming.Nestled amoungst the bush yet a walk to shops and coastline. We had the most wonderful break.Glenys an absolute pleasure.Cant wait to stay again. 10/10 we are very fussy👌

'Just what we needed'
We had a perfect stay at Barakee Beach house and found it very hard to leave. It has everything. Glenys had obviously thought about every eventuality!
A quiet retreat that made it difficult to leave, I could have stayed there all day!

This place ticks all the boxes
This is a 10 out of 10 destination for the family. Complete with indoor BBQ, snooker/pool room and SPA this place has it all. We have been to this house for the last 2 years and we intend to return next year.
There is so much to enjoy in Anglesea, the beach is kid friendly and enough of a wave for the adults as well. Our grandchildren surfed, used the ride on boats and we as a family enjoyed the Restaurants both near and far. Highly reccommend Anglesea made more enjoyable by staying at Barrakee house. As i said this place ticks all the boxes..

Everything we wanted and more..
The Barrakee Beach house was a pleasure to stay in. It was comfortable, well kept and had everything we wanted and needed. I wish we had more time to stay and spend some time in that spa!
