Laurel Cottage is a listed, beamed cottage that has been sympathetically converted from Knighton's 19th Century fire station, and stands within a few yards of Offa's Dyke, and within sight of both the Offa's Dyke Path and Glyndwr's Way. The main bedroom has a four-poster king-size bed, and there are three single beds in the second bedroom. There is a shower room upstairs, and downstairs, a sitting room with a log burner, and a well fitted kitchen. There's a stable next door with plenty of room for bikes and boots. The internal layout is set over various levels. If you have mobility issues, please feel free to contact us to dicuss before you confirm your booking. The Offa's Dyke Centre in Knighton has useful information about the long-distance walks and many other walks in the hills and valleys around Knighton. There are waterfalls, castles and stately homes nearby, and foodie Ludlow is just a short drive away. Altogether the perfect introduction to Wales and the borders. Fabulous

Travelled with a friend, a 6year old and two dogs, we stayed for two nights although could have definitely stayed longer. Great little cottage, lots of character, has everything you need. Owners very friendly. Local area is beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

Christmas Break

We spent 3 nights here and it was a great place for the 4 of us and our 4 month old puppy. The log burner heated up the place brilliantly and the stable/ store was great for coming back after walks with muddy boots on....More

FABULOUS for dogs and their peoples

I travelled with my father and we both loved this quirky and comfortable cottage. Bags of charm and super location for dog walking. Everything you need and lovely friendly owners. Highly recommended.
