The barn is available for short breaks and holidays throughout the year with flexible changeover days and is equally ideal for 1 or 2 couples, friends or families. Our 2 bedroom cottage, attached to our farmhouse, is ideally situated for those who want to enjoy a relaxing, peaceful holiday or there is plenty to see and do in the area. Ideal for 2-4 persons Full of character with oak beams and wood burning stove (1st basket of logs included Oct to April). Open plan living with comfy sofa and armchairs, well equipped kitchen and dining area. Double bedroom with four poster bed (new mattress for 2018) and twin/double bedroom (The second bedroom can be made up as a twin or kingsize bed). Large upstairs shower room and additional downstairs toilet. Night storage heaters, electricity, bed linen and towels inc. No smoking. Wifi access Private garden with table and chairs and BBQ during summer months. Off street parking. NB: There is an unfenced pond close to the property in the owners garden. Knighton is 2 miles away, home to the Offa's Dyke Visitors Centre, where you will find independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, petrol station, supermarket, Boots the Chemist. This is a renowned location for walking, riding and cycling with the Offa's Dyke actually passing through the town and also the Glyndwr's Way. There is plenty to see and do in the area. Close by are Offa's Dyke Path, and the start of Glyndwr's Way, the Long Mynd, the Teme Valley, Mortimer Forest, Radnor Forest and the spectacular Elan Valley. There are historic sites and Border Castles namely Stokesay, Clun, Wigmore, Powis and Ludlow – and there are several English Heritage and National Trust properties within a short drive. The village of Leintwardine, once a Roman settlement, is only ten miles away as well as the nearby towns of Church Stretton, Bishop's Castle, Leominster, Knighton and, above all, Ludlow. Also within easy driving distance is Hay on Wye, Shrewbury and Hereford. Ideally located to explore the Black and White Trail, Weobley, Eardisland and Pembridge to name a few of the villages. For those more active there is Underhill Riding Stables, Griffin Lloyd Shooting Ground and Phil Price Rally School all within 10 miles. There are also 2 gliding centres nearby in Talgarth and Church Stretton. There are several golf courses in Knighton, Ludlow and Kington. More

Lovely accommodation in a great location
