Patio garden & outdoor furniture. Off road parking space.'Ty-Ni' is situated in the idyllic location of Laugharne on the Carmarthen Bay Estuary, a good base for visiting both Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, in South West Wales. There are many beaches, castles and sites of national interest. This area is ideal for walking and you can walk along some of Wales 870 mile coastal path.

Had a fabulous stay, cottage was clean and tidy and in a great location, with not far to travel out if you want a day trip, almost all the beaches near by were dog friendly, even the local people were friendly. We found a lovely coastal walk which went passed Dylan Thomas Boathouse, which we would recommend you visit, it...

Laugharne is a lovely Welsh village. Dylan Thomas lived here and you can follow his birthday walk as well as visit his home. Cottage excellent. Need a car to explore.

Laugharne hosts the poet Dylan Thomas's Boat House and Writing Shed where he wrote some of his works including 'Under Milkwood'. Laugharne has a selection of Restaurants, Cafes and Pubs.

There are many places of interest and things to do, including the 12th Century Laugharne Castle, The Tin Shed Experience, the grave of Dylan Thomas in the Churchyard and The Museum of Speed at nearby Pendine, which hosts a 7 mile stretch of white sandy beach. There is breath taking views, scenic walks in and around Laugharne and other sandy beaches just a short drive away.

The town has many other amenities including The Castle View Fish and Chips, Victoria Bakery, SPAR Convenience Store open till late, Village Stores with Chemist and Post Office. There is also Castle Stores Gift Shop, Choices...

Approx 4 miles from the A40 at St Clears, on the road to Pendine. Approx 12 miles west of Carmarthen.
Ideally a car is needed to reach Laugharne. There is a train station at Carmarthen but there are limited buses from Carmarthen to Laugharne. Please check local buses timetable.
