Tyddyn Plwm is 1.2 miles from Llanddwyn beach, which is a 25 - 35 minute walk through a forest track, and is within a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Llanddwyn is a sandy beach approx 2 miles long and is one of the cleanest and most scenic beaches in the country. A visit to Llanddwyn Island to see the pretty fishermans cottages, lighthouse and a memorial to Santes Dwynwen (Wales' Valentine legend) is a must. The location of the caravan is remote and quiet, the caravan has spectacular views of the Snowdonia mountain range, which is only half an hour drive away. The Marram Grass cafe is a one mile trail walk away, with an entry in the Good Food guide, this is a fabulous place to stay for foodies! Llanddwyn is popular for kite surfing, windsurfing, cycling, nature trails with red squirrels, birds and other wildlife to be seen. It is also a great place just to relax. The main beach car park has recently been upgraded to include a viewing deck that overlooks the beach. Price includes 4 units of gas per day (any units used above this is charged at £5 per unit. The price also includes water and electricity and the caravan is stocked with TV, DVD player, cutlery, dinner set for 4, pans, kettle, tea towels, duvets, covers and sheets. The caravan has a fridge and cooker. Please bring your own towels. A lock up is available which is a useful store for bikes, tack, surf gear etc. As with all holidays, please ensure that your valuables are covered by personal insurance. Friendly pets are welcome and will enjoy the long walks around Llanddwyn forest and beach. Dogs must be trustworthy around children, other dogs (our two friendly dogs free range on the smallholding) and livestock. We do not allow pets on furniture and ask owners to kindly bring with them: a towel to wipe muddy paws, their pet's favorite bed and a water bowl. A small part of the beach is restricted to dogs from May - Sept, however you can roam for miles on unrestricted paths around Newborough forest the Llanddwyn sand dunes, Malltraeth beach and the south side of Llanddwyn beach. We welcome anybody who wishes to travel by public transport. There is a train station at Bangor and a request stop station in Bodorgan. A bus service can be taken from Bangor to Newborough village. The Good Food Guide cafe The Marram Grass is just a 1 mile walk from the property.More

Great location. Easy walk to the beach along a quiet lane, then sandy footpath. Woods to explore and hardly see a soul. Terrific. Caravan fine and just as you would expect. Cannot fault it. Owner lovely, with two friendly dogs.
