About the neighbourhood
Cemaes Bay is the most northerly village in Wales and home to a picturesque fishing harbour, wonderful sandy beaches and magnificent rugged headlands. Local shops can be found here including general store, chemist, butcher and Village Venture shop. Also in the village are 2 pubs, 2 hotels, fish and chip shop and 2 cafes. Also Gadlys hotel and restaurant is just off A5025 on the way to our property. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty, a geological hotspot and a haven for wildlife. Golf course a short drive away and other attractions on the island include Sea Zoo, National Trust property and you can even get the ferry from Holyhead for a day trip to Dublin.
Getting around
Easy walk into Cemaes and along the Coastal path but a car is a must for visiting other attractions. There is a bus service into Bangor and Holyhead, times vary see Arriva web site.
