Yr Aelwyd is a newly refurnished and decorated centrally heated house overlooking the beach of Cemeas Bay, sleeping 6 (3 bed). Less than 2 minutes to the beach, and 4 minutes into the heart of a small local village. Wifi also. Easy access to your netflix and amazon prime if you subscribe. With a large lounge and a real stone coal fireplace (which makes it cosy in the winter months) you'll lack for nothing. With a comfy sofa and chairs, relax as you look out to the sea, and the Isle of Man. Off from the lounge there is a large 24 ft play room for the kids which includes; pool / table football /games table, Blue ray DVD, Playstation2, darts and a variety of games. You can't fault the location of this property, its close to the village centre with shops and pub and hotel restaurant. It has great views from all the bedrooms, from the lounge and from the conservatory and the outside space. We were walking sections of...More

About the neighbourhood
Cemaes Bay is the most northerly village in Wales and is an area of outstanding beauty and some of which is owned by the National Trust, including Cemlyn Bay round the corner. The main attractions of the bay are its two sandy beaches, Traeth Mawr, known as the big beach and Traeth Bach known as the little beach, and the impressive harbour. The beaches have been awarded the renowned Blue Flag in June 2004. The harbour hosts regular RNLI days, and the newly refurbished 1907 Charles Henry Ashely wooden rowing lifeboat.You can sea fish or go crabbing from Cemeas (off headland), or charter boats from the harbour out to Puffin island, Skerries Lighthouse or just for fishing. For golfers the choice is great as there are eight golf courses all within a short distance of each other and offer 9, 1...
