A traditional stone cottage, over 200 years old, situated in an elevated position on the edge of Coed-y-Brenin forest, in central Snowdonia National Park, within easy reach of the coast and main tourist attractions. Excellent views, walking and mountain biking from the door. The cottage is attached, in a group of three properties, on the owners' smallholding (sheep and pigs). Size: Sleeps up to 6, 3 bedrooms Nearest beach: 14 miles Nearest amenities: Pub 3 miles; shop 5 miles Pets: Pets welcome (unlimited number!) at this property. A charge of £25/week, £20/short break per pet applies but to a maximum of £75. Showed as available, sent message requesting booking via Tripadvisor. No answer. Telephoned 3 days later. Was told was already booked and that the owner no longer advertised on Tripadvisor. Unfortunately this is the second Wales cottage booking within a few months where I have found...More
