    The village of Rhu is situated on the Gareloch and is 2 miles from Helensburgh. Within the village there is an Inn, Rosslea Hall Hotel, a post office and 2 shops, stocking basic necessities.There are walking opportunities from the village such as the walk up the hill to the reservoir and a walk into Helensburgh from the back of the village giving beautiful views over the Gareloch and ending at Hill House. Helensburgh is a vibrant town with a regular market and hosts cultural events in the local halls. It has a variety of shops including 4 supermarkets. There are a number of excellent restaurants offering a variety of food including Riverhill which prides itself in offering locally sourced food.
