Holiday Rental House
Crepigill Cottage is a little gem and possibly the prettiest traditional holiday cottage on Skye. A 200 year old former cottar's home and smithy, it has been refurbished to a high standard to provide one-storey accommodation for two guests. Although small this cottage retains its essential beauty and character and is very comfortable and fully equipped to make your stay extra special. Guests have described the cottage as 'love at first sight', 'a little gem', a 'little bit of gold' and it 'lets the soul sing'. Located about 5 miles from Portree, the island's capital, it is ideal for touring the island or for boat trips to other islands. There are fantastic panoramic views towards the 'soft side' of The Storr, Ben Tianavaig and, further away, the Black Cuillins, Skye's world famous mount...Crepigill Cottage is a little gem and possibly the prettiest traditional holiday cottage on Skye. I like your expression “little cocoon of warmth”! We feel the same when we stay there! I am so pleased that you enjoyed your visit and happy that you found the cottage cosy during a winter month. Thank you for your comments.

Thank you for your appreciation. With unpredictable weather I know how important it is to feel 'away from it all' in the cottage. But when the sun comes out -WOW!!

Centrally located to see all that Skye has to offer. Cottage is clean, well equipped, quiet, and has heavy curtains making it easier for sleeping in the long summer days
