Completely re-furbished to bring out its original features, this cottage by the sea, has exposed stone walls with original fireplaces.
Quirky artwork and an eclectic library means that this little house offers more than a bland holiday apartment.
The island provides fantastic opportunities to explore the natural environment - otters can be seen in the harbour, there are boat trips to see whales and dolphins, and landrover wildlife tours to see stags, seals and sea eagles.
There is plenty of history, with castles, churches and stone circles, and a rich cultural calendar provided by the Mull Theatre, An Tobar Arts Centre and numerous arts groups and festivals.
If it rains, the house itself has a fully equipped kitchen in which to perfect your culinary skills, and the Co-op is a few doors...Completely re-furbished to bring out its original features, this cottage by the sea, has exposed stone walls with original fireplaces.

One smaller room with a single bed is designed for children.
The accommodation caters for four adults comfortably although a child could be added to that number. It is not ideal for very young children as there is no bath (just two showers).
Access requires climbing 12 outside steps and all sleeping accommodation is upstairs, so it is not suitable for those unable to climb stairs.
China and high quality cotton sheets and towels provide a country -house feel in a seaside cottage. you can have it all!

I always write reviews to help owners and future visitors. I am torn as while this place has a lot to offer - its central location being the biggest plus there are also things which need to be done before this can be a great...More
The beds were absolutely amazing. It was like sleeping on clouds with very fluffy duvets. Great nights sleep! Brilliant location on the main road between the co-op and Arros Hall with all the shops and bars around us. Parking was not an issue either.
Based on the main street in Tobermory this is a lovely holiday cottage. It has everything you need in a location convenient for the restaurants & shops & many wildlife spotting trips leave from the harbour. The view over the harbour from the front of...More

Toll a Balla, a delightful home set back from the main street in Tobermory, is the perfect place to stay in Mull. Why? The house is in an ideal location midway between the many excellent restaurants and quaint shops in Tobermory, a few seconds away...More

Only given 2 stars due to the good location, which is a shame as the cottage is very quirky and could be delightful. Shower trays and under the toilet seat had not been cleaned, the floors were filthy and the carpets looked like they hadn't...More
The apartment is perfectly positioned on the main St. Plenty of car parking and a good selection of coffee shops and restaurants. The apartment is well equipped with a great book selection. The beds are very comfortable. The rear garden is overgrown but you'd need...More

Stayed here in May and had already booked and paid for this visit in October, otherwise wouldn't of done so. Plus point this property is in a great location, right on the harbour and well equipped. The approach via the outside stairs is very unwelcoming,...More

As you will see, this is quite out of line with other responses we have had.
We are unable to do anything about the neighbour's garden or indeed her broken window.
As it happens, we cleaned the house ourselves before your visit so are very...More
A perfect location right on the main street on the harbour. All the family settled in straight away and we did not feel the lack of anything (though with the views and walks on Mull, we didn't try the TV!

So glad you enjoyed your stay.
Please come again - there is so much to see and do on Mull - all year round.
Marilyn
There is plenty to do - Whale and dolphin watching, wildlife tours to see nesting sea eagles. There are otters in the bay and the famous ginger Tobermory cat can often be seen in our garden - escaping from his fans.
Bikes can be hired from Browns the ironmongers. There is much to see of historical interest - get your bearings from the local museum about 100 yards away along the Main Street.
Within walking distance there is a distillery,a chocolate factory, an ice-cream shop, a bakery and a cheese farm - what more does anyone need.
