An Acail is a recent barn conversion (2014).
Due to the Corona virus Pandemic we have taken the decision to reduce the capacity to four people. This is to allow us the extra time to prepare the cottage between guests. We always clean to a high standard, however, to ensure the safety of our guests we have introduced new measures to our cleaning procedures.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 shower rooms and one bathroom with spa bath and separate shower.

The cottage is on the outskirts of Stornoway town centre and is perfectly located for exploring the Islands of Lewis and Harris. The Islands boast beautiful beaches, many historical sites, and there are numerous walks. Ranging from simple strolls to more adventurous rambles and hill climbs.
The accommodation is on two levels. The lower level has the master bedroom with a luxurious super-king size bed to give you a perfect nights sleep. The spacious, en-suite, bathroom has a water fall power shower with jets, a spa bath and built in television. Just the thing for relaxing after a day exploring the islands, fishing or walking in the hills.
We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible and have included comfortable seating in the large open plan living area and dining table and chairs. This area has a large bay window and french doors to access a patio area with picnic table. There is also an outbuilding, which houses the laundry facilities and has room for storing bikes or drying wet suits.
There is one twin bedrooms up the stairs with en-suite shower room.
