Fantastic 3 bed house with sea view, 2 minute drive from town centre, golf course, Lews Castle and all other amenities that Stornoway has to offer. Situated in a desirable area with a large garden and ample private parking for 3+ cars. Your home from home has a lounge with leather 3,2 and 1 seater, large TV, DVD player, living flame gas fire with limestone fireplace. Selection of games and DVD's provided. The well equipped kitchen/diner has a large range cooker, integrated fridge/freezer & dishwasher & all other kitchen necessities. Master bedroom has en-suite & walk in wardrobe. Main bathroom boasts a jacuzzi bath and large walk in shower. Bed linen and towels provided. Oil central heating and electricity included in price. Sorry, No pets & No smoking. High chair & travel cot available.

We have just returned from a family holiday in the Western Isles, staying at No 79 for 4 nights. The house is ideally situated just a few minutes drive from Stornoway and is the perfect base from which to travel around the rest of the island. The house itself is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and equipped to a high standard with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. In addition, there are tv's in all 3 bedrooms, fast wi-fi, 2 fantastic power showers and a luxurious Jacuzzi bath! Elaine is a wonderful host and was easily contactable to answer any queries. Comprehensive pack containing information on local amenities, transport, restaurants etc was very helpful. No 79 exceeded our expectations - I would recommend it as the ideal holiday rental for a holiday on the Isle of Lewis and hope to have the opportunity to return soon!

We (a couple plus our young adult son) stayed here last week and had a warm, friendly welcome from the owner on our arrival from the airport (only a few minutes drive away). Throughout the booking procedure, preparation for the visit and the visit itself Elaine was most helpful and prompt in her communications.

Everything was in perfect order, the bungalow was warm and the the facilities excellent. The double headed shower was great, just what was needed after exploring the island!

Although there are restaurants nearby we enjoyed cooking and eating in the open kitchen/ dining room. The smoked fish (kippers) from Stornoway Smokehouse and the fish and chips (and sausages and black pudding!) from Cameron's Chip Shop in town were also very good.

We had not expected Wi-Fi and were delighted to find a fast, reliable connection and several channels on the TVs (one in each bedroom and in the lounge).
