The newly 3 bed room converted Barn built in 1808 is situated with in our farm and is an entire separate house. Offering comfort and modern facilities and quality furnishings, set in the heart of the market town of Strathaven the Clyde Valley, the Farm Barn is located in our own quiet private estate with private parking for 3 vehicles and a 5 minute drive from restaurants, award winning green flag parks and bars. We also have a private cart track that guests can walk to the three villages. We welcome the Super One Go-Cart team every year. M74 only 5 minutes. The space The property is all on the level and with in our farm, we also have other Holiday properties on site, so we can cater for large groups all at the same location. Our goal is to provide you with a fully furnished, very comfortable, affordable farm cottage with everything you will need for a great stay. We have a large 50” wall hung TV in the living room, and another 40' in the bedroom with free view. There are many spaces to be totally private inside and out. Our quality mattresses and pillows are all protected, Goose Feather and down duvets. We use high thread count quality Egyptian Cotton bed linen and Hugo Boss luxury bath sheets and towels, some toiletries, and soaps. The entire farm has 24hr CCTV with outside garden furniture. Our gardens are manicured and maintained throughout the summer months. Ceramic hob,/built-in multi function oven, Kettle & toaster, coffee machine, Microwave/Dishwasher/Fridge/Freezer/washer/slow Cooker, whilst we are a self catering cottage we provide complimentary bin bags/Dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls etc, just to start your self catering holiday on the Farm. Full range of cooking pots/extensive Crockery & beautiful serving dishes (especially at Christmas and new year) Cutlery & fine Glassware. We also have basic provisions such as a full range of teas/coffee/sugar/salt & peppers, olive oil, ketchup/spices etc., so you only really need to buy the actual food if you want to cook. We have Holiday Home cleaning & maintenance staff as well as farm hands Other things to note Minimum three nights, unless by arrangement. No parties. A FULL house manual explains everything you need to know including private walks on our cart track, walking routes for your dogs (if they are booked in & paid for) and things to do and places to visit, also the wildlife you can expect to see, or just a visit to our stables are all made clear. Interaction with guests As well as full-time discrete polite staff, we appreciate our guests have different schedules, whilst we like to introduce our self to our guests, our key safe entry with your personal code (given at time of booking) allows you to enjoy your own space if you don’t want to be bothered.

About the neighbourhood
The place is honestly fantastic! It is a really quiet and conservation village area with its own attractions but is situated bang in the middle of central Scotland. We have fabulous restaurants in the village that you would wouldn't believe were there. Our free Parking & Ride train station at Merryton gives you the best access to the city Centre without the HEFTY parking fees in the city. We leave a list of numbers of bars, restaurants, attractions, and more in the manual.
How to get there
Only 20 minutes from Glasgow International Airport and 5 minutes from the M74 motorway we are very well placed for traveling around Scotland. 25 minutes from Prestwick Airport
