Crieff, Perth and Kinross, Scotland
This cottage is a delightful annex of the larger Locherlour Mill which was a recent conversion offering modern extras to this property. These have been done to a very high standard incorporating solid wooden floors which are under-heated, along with high spec decor and furnishings. The cottage itself consists of one roomy bedroom with a high quality king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a floor to ceiling windowed door which allows natural light to flood in. The room then leads into an en-suite wet room which has toilet, sink and generously sized mirror. Luxurious linen, towels and robes are all included in the cost. The kitchen/dining & lounge area is all open plan and flows nicely to make the most of this space. The cottage itself was finished to an extremely high spec and had everything you would need and more. It was a lovely base to return home to after a day out in the Scottish weather with underfloor heating making it extremely...

About the neighbourhood
Crieff used to be the main cattle driving town in Scotland. Nowadays, the town offers a fantastic variety of things to do from visiting Whisky tasting at Tullibardine & Glenturret (The Famous Grouse Experience) Distilleries to Quad biking at the Crieff Hydro. There is no shortage of history here however, with Crieff being home to Scotland's oldest lending library, InnerPerffray, and only preserved WWII Prisoner of War camp.
Getting around
Nearby is Crieff Hydro's 900 acre estate which provides a fantastic backdrop for horse riding & pony treks (all abilities catered for), mountain biking, archery and golf, and boasts a 4 star Spa and Sauna for those wanting a little rest and relaxation. While The Club at Gleneagles provides the opportunity to play a little more golf, shoot, fish and try your hand at falconry. Crieff has beautiful scenic walks and no shortage of pubs, cafes and restaurants, if you have enough energy left to enjoy them!
