Nine miles from the town of Forres, the Bantrach looks out over lovely moorland hills and the winding River Divie. There are few places which give a greater sense of freedom - the nearest houses are half a mile away. Furnished and decorated with maximum relaxation in mind, the sofas and beds are deep and comfortable with good heating and a wonderful fireside making it a cosy home-from-home.

Railway: Aviemore Train Station - 45 minutes: 46.0 km
By car from Inverness (45 minutes - 1 hour)

Follow signs to Nairn A96. Continue on A96 through Nairn to Forres. Come off the A96 at Forres and follow signs to Grantown on Spey A940. Follow A940 towards Grantown for about 8 miles, you will go down a small hill, and at the bottom there is a sharp right hand bend. Take a left turn up a small road immediately before the church. Follow this road under the Viaduct, taking the right fork when the road divides. Follow this road over a small bridge, keep going round a 90 degree bend and up a gentle hill. The cottage is on your right.
