Seagull's Rest has been fully refurbished to a very high standard and is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Crail close to the famous harbour where fishermen bring in their daily catch of lobsters and partens.

Sleeping four, the apartment forms part of a tastefully converted granary which dates back to 1700s and is full of character. The apartments are non-smoking and well-behaved dogs are very welcome by arrangement. Unrestricted on-street parking is available outside the apartments and it is only a 100 yard walk to the local shops and bus stop. The apartment is a great place to escape to for a holiday or short break at any time of year.Situated in the picturesque village of Crail The Seagulls rest has been awarded 4* from the Scottish Tourist Board.

Terrific flat and well equipped. We had our dog with us and Crail is the perfect location for long walks. As a family we had a great time,there's something for everyone,lots to do nearby. Susan the owner provided lots of information of the local area...More

BOOKINGS

Holiday lets run from Friday to Friday for the Seagulls Rest. Bookings are from 4pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure. Short breaks are available throughout the year although availability is limited during High Season.

About the neighbourhood
Crail is a beautiful fishing village with several beaches and a very picturesque harbour. It has a good range of small shops, some interesting gift shops and galleries, a pottery and a number of coffee shops selling delicious home baking. There are several small hotels, most with outdoor eating facilities, selling both traditional dishes and local delicacies such as Crail dressed crabs, lobsters and Pittenweem haddock.

Crail has a small museum and visitor centre and two excellent golf courses and during the summer months a small putting green is opened to visitors. It also has tennis courts and a multi-use games area that can be used for basketball and football. It has several beautiful beaches and there are many scenic walks.

The nearest train station is leuchars which is between St Andrews and Dundee and is approximately 20 minutes from Crail.
