A beautifully presented character house with views over Chesil Beach and Portland Harbour. This holiday home has many character features and really is a home from home. The property has a single parking space, there is also ample on road parking and a covered 'alfresco dining' seating area.

A well presented holiday home with a large kitchen opening to a covered outside seating area and a separate dining area. To the first floor the sitting room has outstanding views over Chesil Beach and Portland Harbour. The bedrooms are situated with master bedroom with en-suite on the ground floor and two further bedrooms on the second floor, one with a double and a single and the third bedroom with two singles. We stayed here with our daughter and her children. It's rather amusing staying in a police station. It's convenient, a good location and it has been sympathetically converted although a bit quirky in some aspects. The beds are comfortable and it's well furnished. There is...More

Well serviced and provisioned property. Tastefully decorated throughout. Funky architecture and layout adds to the experience. Location great for exploring the Jurassic Coast.

Lovely holiday home, really well equipped and very spacious. Only thing missing was a washing machine. Location close to the beach, Weymouth and many places to visit.

About the neighbourhood
Portland is a wealth of adventure at any time of year. There are several beaches each with its own very distinct character. Chesil is the closest and is considered a geographical wonder. The beach runs from Portland all the way to Bridport, and is not only very beautiful to look at, but is also a protected wildlife habitat, a source of income for local fishermen ( oysters are grown in it now ) and great place to go walking or just generally spending time. Portland Bill is a well know Portland landmark for the lighthouse, and the huge rock formation Pulpit Rock. Portland Bill also features the ever popular restaurant The Lobster Pot that sells genuinely local fare with a fantastic view.
