This well presented holiday house has a large and sociable open plan living area with kitchen, seating and dining areas, allowing for a relaxed and inclusive holiday atmosphere.
There are four bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room. The ground floor provides two twin rooms and a shower room with a further twin, a double and bathroom on the first floor. The elevated position means the views over Weymouth & Portland are simply stunning, definitely something you will want to write home about.

Stunning views, flowers, tea, coffee and biscuits awaiting us. Cottage clean and well maintained and the Red House letting agents attended promptly when we had wifi problems. Situated down a narrow, single track road so careful manourvering was required to park our two large vehicles

We recently stayed here as a large family to celebrate my mother in laws 80th birthday who was born and raised in Portland. It was important for me to find suitable accommodation for the whole family to stay (8 adults, 2 children) to make her birthday as special as possible and we were overwhelmed by how perfect this cottage was...

A great house that provided everything we needed for the week long stay. Nice to wake up and enjoy the view across Chesil Beach. Definitely fitter after walking up the hill a few times.

About the neighbourhood
Portland is a wealth of adventure at any time of year. There are several beaches each with its own very distinct character. Chesil is the closest and is considered a geographical wonder. The beach runs from Portland all the way to Bridport, and is not only very beautiful to look at, but is also a protected wildlife habitat, a source of income for local fishermen ( oysters are grown in it now ) and great place to go walking or just generally spending time. Portland Bill is a well know Portland landmark for the lighthouse, and the huge rock formation Pulpit Rock. Portland Bill also features the ever popular restaurant The Lobster Pot that sells genuinely local fare with a fantastic view.
