Tucked away in the heart of Enid Blyton country is a charming two-bedroom cottage with lots of living space, a rolling garden and uninterrupted views over the majestic ruins of Corfe Castle and the Purbeck Hills. Furnished with a quirky eye and an emphasis on comfort, there is nowhere better to kick off your muddy walking boots after a pint in the pub next door, while watching your contented dog doze in front one of the two roaring fires.

Our cottage dates back to the early 1800s and offers:

If you want a cosy cottage with stunning views and a good pub within 100m, you cannot do better than this. Clean, tidy and as advertised.

Purbeck is officially designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Jurassic coastline is a World Heritage Site. Much of it is under the ownership of The National Trust. Some of the highlights within either walking distance or a short drive from the cottage are:

· Climbing up to the 11th century ruins of William the Conqueror's Corfe Castle
· Taking the steam train from Corfe Castle to Swanage and back
· Crossing from Studland to Sandbanks on the chain ferry
