Fabulous Stay at Gogwell
We had a wonderful stay at Gogwell. There was plenty of space for all of the family spread over six bedrooms and we lost count of the bathrooms and toilets. High up in the hills of Devon with fabulous views over the valley toward the Blackdown Hills, totally isolated from the world down its own farm track with no worries about Covid. The heated swimming pool saw the kids swimming before breakfast, lunch and dinner and again before bed. It was pure pleasure just to be able to sit out on the verandah and chat into dusk after a home cooked meal on the Aga and the fire pit well stoked up to keep us warm.
The other facilities were too many to mention but the kids enjoyed the table tennis and darts while we played croquet on the lawn.
Thoroughly recommended. If there was one recommendation we would make, more hanging space for clothes in each bedroom would have been appreciated.
