At the end of the day sink into our large sumptuous zip and link beds, two Emperor and one Super King, covered with luxurious 400TC Egyptian cotton bedding, and white fluffy towels for use within the property. Hairdryers, alarm clocks and wooden coathangers provided. The home features one en-suite and one family bathroom with bath and shower. The kitchen is equipped to a high standard, with separate dining room which has a burning log gas fire & gold pendant lighting. Lawned garden with patio area, small fishpond & paddock to the rear. Emperor sized beds are 200 x 200 joined or can be split into 2 x 100 x 200 Super King sized bed is 180 x 200 joined or can be split into 2 x 90 x 200 Note:- These beds are quite high. 1 Emperor room comes with Ensuite. USB plug connections are available in the bedrooms & kitchen for charging smartphones. The kitchen is fully equipped with items such as Sage Creatista Nespresso Coffee Maker with Milk Wand, Sage Blender, Sage Food Processor, Microwave, Crock-pot, Steamer, Robert Welch Cutlery, John Lewis Croft Collection Luna Tableware, as well as the usual, Oven, Hob, Dishwasher, Washing Machine & Tumble Dryer. Tea Towels are also provided. A selection of luxury towels are provided for use on the premises together with Duck Island toiletries. Please bring your own towels for days out. There is one Smart television with FreeSat & NOW TV. Pure Evoke DAB bluetooth radios in all 3 bedrooms and living room. These can connect to smartphones to play your own music. Mirrors in the bathroom & ensuite are also bluetooth enabled. Fibre Broadband with free wifi provided. Heating is available when required by gas fire & gas central heating. Outside on the patio a Weber Genesis II Gas Barbecue is available to use with garden table & chairs. Private parking is available right outside the front door. Guests have access to the paddock. A Ring Doorbell is situated on the front door. Most essentials are included in the price: Duck Island Toiletries, 2 Diswasher Tablet per day, 4 Laundry Pods per day (2 Bio, 1 Non Bio, 1 Colour), Fairy Dishwashing Liquid, 1 Plenty Kitchen Roll, 1 Toilet Roll per day, Cling Film, Kitchen Foil, Bin Liners, Washing Up Cloth, Method Kitchen Spray. About the neighbourhood
The Town Square is a short 3-5 minute walk away. There you will find a small supermarket, chemist, post office, cafe, fish & chip shop, kebab shop & 2 pubs within walking distance, 3 if you like to walk a little further. Larger supermarkets are located at Bow (4 miles), Okehampton (7 miles) and Crediton (10 miles), most supermarkets deliver to the area. Both the Tarka Trail & the Devon Heartland Way run through North Tawton and the town is central for all of Devon's attractions. Bicycle Hire is available on the Tarka Trail if you do not have your own. There are also quite a few walks along public rights of way which take you right into the countryside and along the river banks, if you enjoy a nice walk.
Getting around
There is a regular week-day bus service between the City of Exeter, Barnstaple and Okehampton, as well as other towns or villages along the route. At Exeter there are buses & trains which run nationwide & Exeter International Airport which is slightly outside of the City. Exeter is 20 miles away from North Tawton. A Local Taxi is available booked in advance.
