Brand New on Trip Advisor. Fantastic 2 bedroom, 2nd floor flat, new bathroom, new kitchen, all the amenities. AMAZ-ZING view over the ocean, beach, town green and stream with the potential (!) of sun all afternoon. There is also a great view of Brunel's railway. A stone throw from Dawlish train station, 2 stone throws from the coach stop and local bus service, we also offer free private parking (1 space). Great pubs and restaurant choices all easy walking distance, as are the glorious beaches. We have a double bed and a single bed (both real beds) with brand new great mattresses. We also have an inflatable double bed. Brand new kitchen with new oven and hob top, toaster, microwave & kettle and washer/drier. There is a brand new, large, walk in power shower. We arrived late on a Friday night but we had a dedicated parking place and we made our way up the stairs to the flat to the key box. Not having to meet anyone was also a good thing after driving down from London. Waiting...More

John is your Host and he is an ex fireman and has lived locally his entire life. He is available to answer questions or to respond to any problems however trivial if required. You will have complete quiet enjoyment of this great flat. The flat is accessed via a private courtyard with a keybox to allow any time arrival !

About the neighbourhood
The Flat is located adjacent to the green, overlooking the Sea. In less than a minutes walk from the flat you can walk along the sea wall to glorious Coryton Cove or all the way to Dawlish Warren. There is minature golf and a lovely walk through the green alongside the brook. There is Lawn Bowling available for visitors in the green too. The green is a waterfowl sanctuary with many Geese, Ducks and Black Swans. There is nice shopping in Dawlish with plenty of Cafes, a Co-op (open late) and a fab Creamery. Luckily Dawlish has some good pubs too my favourites are the White Hart (good beer and local charm) and the Lansdowne (open late with bands). Dawlish is located in a small valley and as such has not changed much in the last 150 years.
Getting around
There is an information book in the lounge that can help guests plan days out including Paignton Zoo, Exeter Cathederal, Dartmouth Steam Railway, Dartmoor, Buckfast Abbey, Powderham Castle, the Jurassic Coast (the only natural World Heritage site in Great Britain), Sir Francis Drake's ship the Golden Hind (replica), the Living Coast (a marine exhibition), plus beaches, plus piers, plus harbours, plus great shopping, plus fishing plus plus plus !
