About the neighbourhood
North Mayo is one of the undiscovered gems of the Wild Atlantic Way, and you will be thrilled with the scenery and peace and quiet. Check out the website of North Mayo and also Ballycastle for more details.
Getting around
You really need a car for a comfortable holiday here. There is a small grocery store within walking distance, and a couple of pubs and a coffee shop in the village of Ballycastle. For bigger shopping and a better choice of food outlets, I would suggest checking out Killala (14km) or Ballina (27km).
Car recommended
How to get there
Airport: Knock International Airport: 68.0 km
Railway: Ballina Train Station: 27.0 km

Public transport is very sparse in this part of Mayo. There is a daily Bus Eireann bus from Ballina.
There is parking for three or four car on the driveway, which is very secure.
