The living area downstairs is laid out with an open plan kitchen/ dining room with table and chairs for six people. There is also a two seater sofa. Directly outside via a patio door is a further table with seating for eight. The living room has a wooden floor, sofa and chairs to seat six. This room has an open fire and logs are provided in the utility room. The ground floor bedroom may be suitable for disabled access depending on access needs with a double and single beds. Further accomodation downstairs includes a family bathroom with shower, utilty room with boiler, sink and washing machine and a hall with desk and seating area. A deposit of £100 sterling per week is required at the time of booking.
Balance payable 4 weeks prior to arrival together with a refundable £100 damage deposit which will be refunded within 2 weeks of your departure [ subject to a satisfactory property inspection ].
Property to be vacated on day of departure by 10.00am and arrivals to be by 4.00pm [ unless otherwise agreed].
Changeover day strictly Saturday

The property's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights during low season. Three nights is minimum booking. Minimum Price £300.

About the neighbourhood
Mullaghmore (Irish: An Mullach Mór, meaning 'The Great Summit') is a village in County Sligo, Ireland. It is a noted holiday destination, characterised by a skyline dominated by the monolithic shape of the mountain Ben Bulben. The beach is long and sandy and safe for children because of it's gentle shelving. It was a favoured holiday retreat of Louis Mountbatten who owned Cassiebawn Castle located on the headland.
In 2007 it hosted the final stage of Rally Ireland with cars racing around the spectacular headland.
Mullaghmore is also known as one of the best Big Wave Surfing locations in the world. Surfers are pulled by jet- ski to the waves on the headland.

Nearest airport is Knock West of Ireland (1 hour by car) with cheap flights by Ryanair and others from many UK airports. Londonderry airport (1 hour 30 minutes by car), Belfast City Airport (2 hours 30 minutes by car) and Dublin Airport (3 hours by car) are also served by a variety of airlines including Flybe, Easyjet and Air Lingus.

By car:
Mullaghmore, the nearest village (0.5 miles), can be reached through Sligo which is 25 miles to the south, or Enniskillen which is 25 miles to the north-east. Mullaghmore Cottage is 0.5 miles from Mullaghmore village. Turn left off the N15 Sligo Road at Cliffoney follow signs for Mullaghmore. Travel 750 m Slight left onto R279 turn right 1.4 km. Cottage on left.
