This was my second time at this location an it never fails. The house was clean , shower & bedrooms, the fireplace was great. I highly recommend anybody not looking to break your pockets on a new adventure. Wi-Fi worked great , sleeping area was perfect . I am very thankful for the renters for allowing us into their home , thanks again .

I would not stay here
I don't know how it would have been to stay here in the summer, but my winter stay was intolerable. The drafts in the house were so unbearable I had to wear a coat inside and I had the thermostat up as far as it would go. One of the amenities listed was a fireplace, but when I contacted the owner upon my arrival (Sunday 2/7), she said they had an incident with a past renter using the fireplace and fires were not allowed. After spending a chilly night there, I decided I could not spend another 3 days there. I texted the owner that morning (Monday 2/8) saying I was leaving and didn't hear back from the owner until the follow day (Tuesday 2/9). I requested a partial refund, but she refused. All I was looking for was a quiet, relaxing, comfortable vacation and what I received was inconvenience, stress, aggravation, and frustration. The listing on TripAdvisor is misleading by saying there's a fireplace. If you can't use it, what good is it? The owner said I didn't give them a chance to remedy the situation. If they would have gotten back to me the morning I let them know I was leaving, maybe I would have stayed; but how do you fix drafts coming in through the walls?

Beautiful and Relaxing
My wife and I had a great time at your cabin. The lake was very close by and was peaceful. The dogs loved it as well, especially with all the wildlife in the area. Thank you very much!

Very Nice
This was a really nice place to stay and we had a great time. Originally, I booked the wrong dates and Gail accommodated us without hesitation. We are still so grateful for that. Thank you Gail! We had a great time kayaking, hiking along the lakes and making s'mores at the fire pit. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Worth every penny !!!
The house was more then what we expected, cozy warm an very clean . Shower was perfect the rooms didn’t have no smell , kitchen was very clean also . The community was nice the people were all very friendly, if you are looking to escape the city life I would highly recommend this location , an the house was just perfect the price the community was also on point . Thanks again Gail !! We are looking forward for our up coming summer vacation , an you will be hearing back from us !! Thanks ..

Great Place to Stay
I decided to rent this cabin for my birthday weekend along with my family. This place exceeded my expectations, the house was clean, cozy and can comfortably fit 8 people. They had everything you need here, we loved the fire pit and just cooking out on the deck. Watching the deer was beautiful . The owners Gail and George are the perfect hosts, they were accessible anytime we texted and answered all of our questions promptly. We were able to use the boats on their property and they greeted us when we arrived to help us with anything we needed. The community was perfect they have nice pools and playgrounds. We will definitely be renting again!

Relaxing Time At Cozy Cottage
We just returned from a 4 night stay at Cozy Cottage in the beautiful Poconos and we had one of the most peaceful and relaxing vacations we've ever experienced. The cottage is located next to Lake Wallenpaupack about 2 hours and 15 minutes from New York City. The town of Hamlin is about 4-5 miles away where you'll find Weis Supermarket and John's Italian Restaurant along with CVS, banks/ATMs, convenience stores.....Cozy Cottage is also dog friendly which is a big plus for us. The cottage itself is comfortable, roomy, has a fireplace and a large outdoor deck with a gas grill. If you're looking for peace and quiet and a place to take endless walks and to simply get away from it all then please check out Cozy Cottage.

Perfect cozy cottage!
Cozy cottage was just that, small but able to begin accommodate 8. There were two bedrooms on main level with full bath that slept 4 people. The loft area was accommodated with two beds. My 2 kids were excited to stay. The main area also had the kitchen/living room area that was open. There was also bonus sunroom where there was a futon where another 1-2 people could sleep and had a door that closed from main area so could be private. There are plenty of board games there that you can play and many dvds could watch. They did have cable and wireless connection. Fire pit in the back was great. many deer in surrounding area and beach very short drive or @ 10 minute walk. had
playground also. We took indoor pool advantage of indoor pool one rainy day which was short drive and great to have that option. Owner Gail was very reaponsive and helpful.
