We really enjoyed our stay at bear pause retreat. Cabin was beautiful and it’s located in a wonderful community. Everything was accurate to the photos online. We were able to go out and enjoy the private ski hill and relaxed by the fire pit at night. Would absolutely stay here again!

Charles was a very responsive host. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and cozy! The bed was comfortable and the rain shower in the downstairs bath was fantastic! We had a great stay and would definitely recommend the cabin !

My husband and I decided to rent the cabin for a few days to celebrate our anniversary. The pictures do not do it justice! It is so cozy and comfortable! I loved the way it was decorated as well. Just what I was imagining when I was looking for a cozy cabin retreat. There are some really good restaurants nearby as well. We got lucky and it happened to snow one night, with big, thick snowflakes and everything seemed so picturesque. Charles is a great house manager. Super helpful and communicative. Great amenities as well! Loved the stay! Was absolutely magical. Can’t wait to do it again!

Beautiful log cabin, perfect place for a fall get-away. Great walking path around the lake, almost 4 miles. The cabin inside is very nice, felt like kitchen and bathrooms were like new, good Wi-Fi, loved the gas fireplace, already had YouTube TV logged in. In summary, great cabin feel with the modern conveniences we expect.

We stayed at the Bear Pause Cabin for two nights before Christmas and loved every moment! If you’re looking for a setting for quiet, meaningful, cozy, warm experiences and beautiful memories with family, look no further! The cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable. CJ is a professional, thoughtful, communicative host. We’re already planning our family’s return trip!
