This is a beautiful, quiet property with first class amenities. Our 7 adults, a 2 year old and a dog fit nicely. Maureen the host is perfect, and The Hideout is a family-centered resort with every amenity imaginable. No loud parties, pot smoke or thumping stereos here. Just smiles and laughter.

The place is great. Comfortable beds, enough space...
The place is great. Comfortable beds, enough space to be together without being on top of one another. We had a good time. Theres so much to do inside the hideout. We played golf, and fished. Next time we'll take a boat, or kayak out.

House was very nice, with only issues spotty internet and a mercurial house key/lock. Amenities inside the gated community were nice, but it would have been helpful if the house had some beach chairs since they don’t rent them at the beach. Restaurants and grocery store were conveniently located. First time staying in a gated community, and it exceeded my expectations.

Property and house was great. Clean and not cluttered with a ton of decor. Plenty of space for the 5 of us. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools (maybe just add a skillet). Each room has a separate AC/fan and heater so each room can be climate controlled. Wish the Hideout itself had better information on how the amenities worked and what was and was not open, IE: kayak rental window said “were open” but they actually closed Labor Day weekend.

The house holds heat wonderfully (nice since it got very cold this weekend) And there's a lot of little things the owner leaves for you that one may forget in the scramble of packing for vacation. There were plenty of spices, trash bags, cleaning supplies, and utensils to cook with. The showers were very nice as well with great water pressure (which is something I tend to find other vacation homes lacking)
Overall a very nice property In a beautiful and quiet community.

Highly Recommend This Home!
It was an extended family gathering of 10. We all agreed that this house served us very well during our visit! It is very clean & well stocked to meet all your basic needs. Even though the home is small, it is VERY accommodating! The space is tight, but very well laid out. The furniture is mostly new, stylish, comfy and functional. Lots of nice decorative details that add to the charm of this Lake House. Great outdoor deck furniture (also appears to be new) in both the front and back of the house including two separate high tables w/ chairs. There is also a gas powered fire pit in the center of the table on the back deck. It's great for making S'mores, bonus! Only a few minor suggestions: They could use some more hooks for towels in both bathrooms (shower towels) and bedrooms (beach towels/clothes). A few more kitchen towels would be useful too. It would also be nice if they would supply hand soap and tissues.

Lake Getaway
The house was perfect for our family. There are multiple floors with bedrooms so the kids were able to spread out. House was very clean and had plenty of blankets. Kitchen was fully stocked as well..

Cozy lake house getaway, super clean!
This house was absolutely spotless. You can see the property was just updated and the interior looked brand new. We had 4 adults and 3 teens in our group and we had plenty of room. My son really enjoyed staying in the spacious loft. The new pergola and gas fire table on the back deck was a really nice plus. The house was fully stocked for when we cooked and BBQ’d. This was our second time staying at the Hideout and we couldn’t be more pleased. Look forward to returning.
