Perfect location to get away from life for a while. With no phone reception, this was perfect for us and our dog was more then welcome. Many thanks, Kelli, and I hope Coffee Camp is still perfect for you when we have our own mobile phone station across the creek and another on the other side at our telephone exchange both scheduled for coming online before this year is out. Both are to be connected to fibre for warp speed.

I enjoyed RainbowStay on 27th June this year. I would say that winter is the best time to visit the Nimbin region, as it does get very hot in summer. I just loved the antique furniture and the general feel of the place. If you appreciate 1920s-1930s Australian houses you'll love this one. It's just like visiting your grandmother's place....

From the South:
From Lismore, follow the signs to Nimbin. Once on the Nimbin Road, drive until the 2nd School Zone (about 18km) which is the Village of Coffee Camp. The estate is the 2nd driveway on your left after entering the hamlet. The Coffee Camp School is on your right, opposite. Number 1857 and Aldwych Park are on the entrance pillars.

(NSW/Qld border: 60mins)
Take the M1 Pacific Hwy into New South Wales then the Murwillumbah Exit (Tourist Drive 40 via Mt Warning). in Murwillumbah, follow the signs to Nimbin/Kyogle (Tourist Drive 32). Continue on the Murwillumbah-Kyogle Road until the turnoff on the left to Nimbin/Lismore (Tourist Drive 32). Drive through Nimbin village to 1st School Zone, Coffee Camp.
