Allambie Gums was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Sydney. We woke up to kangaroos every morning and would be perfect for a couples getaway or small family. Cheryl was very easy to communicate with & we will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Charming accommodation backing onto the bush. We woke to kangaroos outside. Our kids loved exploring the delightful gardens, and we enjoyed choosing from the many little nooks to sit outside with a cuppa (or beverage of choice). Close to town (15 min walk to centre) but provides the peace and quiet of the bush. Many thoughtful details inside, including tips on where and when to spot local wildlife, which resulted in our first ever encounter with a wombat. Easy access to all the attractions in the area; and this area has plenty, it’s absolutely gorgeous! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

We had a great weekend at Allambie Gums. It's a very nice little 2 bedroom cottage which was quite comfortable for a family of 4. The decor inside was very tasteful giving a rustic feel. An exhaustive set of DVDs and a few boardgames can keep your family engaged. The location was very convenient close to Hampden bridge and also to village center. Thanks a lot Cheryl for your hospitality.
