PET FRIENDLY The fully enclosed yard is perfect for your family dog with designated leash-free walking on the beach nearby. CONCIERGE SERVICE We include a full concierge service which includes pantry stocking for your arrival and booking our preferred local activities. The chef's kitchen regularly turns out food for 70 at our wedding receptions, and is a joy to cook in. Espresso machine and all the tools await you. If you take advantage of our grocery service you can relax immediately after your long journey to Byron Bay. Or you may choose to book our in-house chef for that special night, eating on the deck under the stars. BICYCLES, SURFBOARDS & STAND-UP PADDLING Four bikes are ready for the beautiful low tide cycle to the lighthouse, or take out one of the four surfboards or two 10 foot stand-up paddle boards. Just 25 minutes from Ballina airport, or 55 minutes for the Gold Coast, this is Byron Shire living without the bustle. To hold a reception there is a four night minimum stay (three nights midweek) and a reception fee that covers infrastructure like marquee, rubbish removal, gate attendant, cutlery, glasses and crockery, 5 dry bars, wet weather sail and public liability insurance (value $4200). Capacity 70. Reception fee $3600. Get married around lunchtime and wind away the afternoon through the sunset with your guests. Why let the wedding celebration end when it doesn't have to! Continue the dancing, and the good times at your wedding after-party and celebrate until the early hours. Location - Broken Head The stretch of beach to the immediate south of the Byron Bay Lighthouse ends at its south point, the tiny settlement of Broken Head, where there will only ever be 17 houses. From the beach you can only see one building, the Byron Bay Lighthouse. Ignore that and you could be transported back 1000 years. Mostly untouched rainforest, Broken Head is a magical spot positioned only a few minutes from the heart of Byron Bay and boasts a beach with a legendary point break. The beach break is perfect for beginners, and local surf schools often choose to give their students their first wave in the family friendly shallows of the beach. Over the summer months the beach is patrolled by lifeguards. Dolphins and whales are a common sight in the ocean out front. Two of the most deserted and beautiful beaches in the shire, Brays and Kings, are found by walking up Seven Mile Beach road and down tracks through the rainforest. The road begins right outside our front gate. More
