The accommodation is provided over three floors, with the fifth and second bedrooms located on the ground floor. Bedroom five provides bunk beds, whilst bedroom two provides a king-size bed and futon. The sitting area offers comfortable seating, a television and a wood-burning stove for those cosy nights in. The kitchen features two ovens, two fridges, a freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave, with the dining area comfortably seating ten guests. Stepping through French doors, a stunning balcony awaits, leading to a decked area complete with outdoor furniture, the perfect place to enjoy the views overlooking the lakes. Ascending to the second floor, the scenic views continue. The first bedroom offers a king-size bed along with a spacious en-suite bathroom. Bedroom three features twin single beds, and bedroom four boasts a double bed, both with easy access to the family bathroom. The Roundhouse has its own lawned garden leading down to a trickling river and a patio area with a charcoal barbecue. The property is just a 20-minute walk across the golf course to the wonderful surfing beach of Polzeath, where you can also find two well-run surf schools, lively restaurants, cosy cafes, shops and convenience stores. There are several alternative footpaths that run from Roserrow, some are coastal and others inland to St Minver, but all are well worth exploring. Additional Information: Sorry, no pets. Parents, please be aware of garden leading down to water. Please note that the facilities at The Point are not included; please contact them directly for bookings and costs.

Fabulously Quirky House

We stayed 7 nights at The Roundhouse with our grown up children and their partners. Upon turning into the driveway we all gazed open mouthed in awe at the house as the website photos don’t do it justice. It’s certainly the most unusual house we’ve ever stayed in. The gardens sweep down to a stream and trees provide shielding from the surrounding properties. Inside, the house is tastefully decorated throughout; there’s a utility area on the ground floor with a washing machine and a dryer and the kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of crockery, ovenware and every cooking utensil possible. Ooh nearly forgot the vast array of chopping boards!! The dishwasher was a great help with large groups too. The house is located in walking distance of the beach at Polzeath via a golf course, public footpath and onto a country lane. It took us about 20-30 mins. There’s a golf clubhouse about 10 mins walk away with a nice bar that’s open to non golfers too. I don’t have any negatives to report at all... the house is quirky, fun and provides ample space for family and friends to holiday together. We had a great time and didn’t want to leave.
