The house itself is in a perfect location; it is just a 5-minute walk from the village centre with its traditional pubs, tearooms and shop. The National Trust’s wide sweeping sandy beach and headlands are also just a 10-minute walk away.

Crantock beach (10 mins walk away) is a beautiful wide sandy bay. It has lifeguards and is perfect for swimming & surfing. Crantock beach was rated by the BBC series 'Coast' as Britain’s number 1 beach. This beautiful coastal area forms part of a National Trust Conservation Area and is great for coastal cliff walks. Or why not, take to the water to try your hand at kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, or surfing, all available for hire.

Nearby, the town of Newquay 3 miles away offers plenty of shops, restaurants, zoo, aquarium, boat trips and activities. Both Dairyland Theme Park and the Lappa Valley Steam Railway are 4.5 miles & offer a great day out for children. Quaint fishing towns of Padstow is 16 miles or St Ives 30 miles away.
