No1 is built into the hillside and benefits from significant solar gain from the south facing double height windows - this means warmth and light even on dull days. How to get there
Airport: Manchester: 50.0 km
Railway: Hebden bridge: 1.0 km
Easy walk from railway station, turn left just after the river bridge, wander through the park, cross the canal and walk down the towpath past the Alternative Technology Centre, turn right just before the road bridge over the canal, emerge next to the coop, cross Market Street, go up Hangingroyd Road, turn first left and No1 is in front of you, hiding behind lots of mad house plants that need a trim (or they did when I wrote this)
