About the neighbourhood
We are in a beautiful mostly rural area, across from the Pelican Butte Mountain range and the Agency Lake as well as the Wood River Bird Sanctuary. We have lots of wildlife and forested area on our ranch, which is right next to the Winema National Forest. Our land connects to the Pacific Crest trail about 21 miles in.
You can drive your car in to our ranch driveway, and either come up the driveway to our house, or turn left on a dirt roadway that goes in front of our outdoor horse arena, and leads into the campgrounds. The campgrounds is a large loop with solar lights at the side at night. The tipis are off to the right.. Each tipi you can drive right up to and have your own parking.
How to get there
Airport: Rogue Valley International Medford Airport: 76.0 km
Railway: Klamath Falls Train Station: 26.0 km
We are 26 miles South of Crater Lake, on the same Hwy, and 26 miles North of Klamath Falls. Once you get onto Crater Lake Hwy (Hiway 62) look for a large oval white sign with a red horse on it..saying: Heartline Ranch, 'Come Ride with us'...we are the third driveway from the corner, or right beside the Winema National Forest. Go into our ranch driveway and come up to the ranch house, we will guide you to your tipi. Just after you pull into our driveway, the first small dirt roadway in front of the outdoor horse arena leads to the campgrounds. The tipis are off to the right, with the Redtail Hawk tipi being the closest to the Porta potty and Solar Propane Shower.
