OCRE= Luxury. Comfort. Relaxation
OCRE has a feeling of class, comfort, character and luxury. In a rural setting it offers a calming and very private retreat from bustling city life. It offers very comfortable lounges to catch up on reading, music, conversation; the perfect well appointed kitchen, walking self-guided trails, landscape gazing & birdwatching from verandahs or behind big windows beside the fire. Divine beds. Very spacious but with private areas so shared accommodation works well for family and friendship groups.

Mid week 2 night stay
Simply the best accessible accommodation I have had the pleasure of using. Bathroom rails and shower chair, ramps that allow easy access to the bathroom and reduce tripping hazards. Fantastic views down the valley to Victor Harbor and the Bluff. Native bird and animal life, meticulously maintained grounds, spacious well stocked kitchen. Great hosts. Recommended for everyone, especially those seeking accessibility.

We are so pleased that you enjoyed the native birds and wildlife, the fabulous views to Victor Harbor and the Bluff as well as the surrounding grounds. Heaven on a hill.
OCRE is a gorgeous retreat. Nothing has been forgotten. The view is stunning and the beds king-sized. I would go back every weekend if I had the chance!

Serene getaway
An idyllic stay at Old Coach Road Estate. Beautiful accommodation with quality furnishings, linen and details. Loved sitting in front of the fire looking over the hills to the sea. A great area to explore if you can tear yourself away from the house!

Amazing views and facilities
What an amazing location! The views from every angle are incredible! The house is very clean and spacious and has so many well thought out features including an abundance of kitchen utensils to make the most of the lovely kitchen area! The location is very quiet and it made for a very relaxing weekend!

Perfect farm luxury
We had the most beautiful weekend at Old Coach Road Estate! It was absolutely spotless and so well equiped for all of our cooking needs. The views were stunning and it was so cosy sitting next to the fire watching the weather roll over the hills. I wish we had stayed for longer! We’ll definitely be back!

OCRE has the advantage of providing secluded living on a beautiful 200 acre property with stunning views, that provides easy access to the many features of the Fleurieu Peninsula. There’s just so much to see and do! It’s less than 15 minutes drive to beautiful beaches, shops, the local movie theatre, 2 golf courses, cellar doors, many cafes, Farmer’s Markets and a wide variety of restaurants. The famous wineries of McLaren Vale are less than half an hour away and the spectacular scenery of Deep Creek Conservation Park and Second Valley can be accessed in less than an hour’s drive.
Getting around
Bring your car if you want to go exploring the beautiful beaches and many attractions near by. But many of our guests don’t want to leave the property during their stay! It is simply stunning and provides much to do onsite. Cooking classes, astronomy experiences and guided bush walks to name a few!

How to get there
Located on the ridge line of hills above Victor Harbor, OCRE is easily accessed by car. Heading from Adelaide, take the right hand turn 12 km south of Mt Compass, onto Pambula Road. This is also marked as Myponga turn off. The first road on your left is Old Coach Road and the Estate is down 1km on the left. Enter this stunning property through the wooden gates and the villa is at the end of the 100m driveway.
