OCRE guests enjoy luxuries such as hotel quality linen, 3 king beds, fully air-conditioned living areas and bedrooms, spectacular views from all rooms, claw-footed bath and beautiful country rustic décor which is complimented by a large log open fireplace in the lounge.
Old Coach Road Estate (OCRE) was established in December 2019 after renovations of the house had been completed. Major works were required to update the house in an environmentally sustainable way. Every window and every external door was replaced with double glazed windows and doors. Solar panels were installed, the house was fully insulated and rainwater tanks added.
The house sits proudly upon more than 200 acres overlooking Hindmarsh Valley and Victor Harbor. The property includes a large area of Heritage scrub, and...

Great place to stay!
Great location, beautiful views. Peaceful. The accommodation and facilities are luxurious, clean, tidy and have everything.
Loved the open fire!
Communications with the owner were excellent. Highly recommended!

A stunning luxurious accommodation experience!
Old Coach Road Estate (OCRE) is a stunning luxurious accommodation experience, tucked away in a tranquil setting with awesome views across Hindmarsh Valley to the Bluff at Victor Harbor.
Angela is an amazing host with brilliant communication and delivers a meticulous level of detail that will ensure you have a truly wonderful stay at OCRE.
Everything is beautifully appointed at OCRE, from their bedroom linen to the cosy fireplace, with great provisions and locally sourced welcoming treats.
OCRE is located close to some amazing eateries and also offers up some great activities, plus you can enjoy nature as you walk through the stunning property.
Treat yourself for a special occasion or just get away for some relaxation, you won't regret it.

We love to provide our guests with a luxurious experience along with opportunities to venture into the beautiful natural surroundings of Old Coach Road Estate. Our hotel quality linen is professionally washed and ironed, and the villa is deep cleaned between every stay, so it’s great to see that our guests take note of our attention to detail. We delight in providing a hamper of delicious local treats to accompany a bottle of local wine selected according to our guests’ preference. Beautiful weekend getaway.
The property was very well- kept and beautifully presented as the photos on the website. Angela was a great host and thoughtful. The house was so well equipped, everything that you may need due the stay are all available. The details to meet every guests need was very superb. The house was spotlessly clean that I had no issues/ concerns during the stay.
The views were beautiful.

Two week study retreat
One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed! Comfortably slept all seven of us and miraculously made two weeks of studying feel like a break rather than a chore. Loved the cows and goats. Will definitely be returning.

Majestic place
OCRE is a magical place. Amazing views of rolling hills, ocean and livestock. Even has a fireplace! Plenty of room for a large family to stay and a full kitchen. Lovely host who goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable.

OCRE= Luxury. Comfort. Relaxation
OCRE has a feeling of class, comfort, character and luxury. In a rural setting it offers a calming and very private retreat from bustling city life. It offers very comfortable lounges to catch up on reading, music, conversation; the perfect well appointed kitchen, walking self-guided trails, landscape gazing & birdwatching from verandahs or behind big windows beside the fire. Divine beds. Very spacious but with private areas so shared accommodation works well for family and friendship groups.

About the neighbourhood
OCRE has the advantage of providing secluded living on a beautiful 200 acre property with stunning views, that provides easy access to the many features of the Fleurieu Peninsula. There’s just so much to see and do! It’s less than 15 minutes drive to beautiful beaches, shops, the local movie theatre, 2 golf courses, cellar doors, many cafes, Farmer’s Markets and a wide variety of restaurants. The famous wineries of McLaren Vale are less than half an hour away and the spectacular scenery of Deep Creek Conservation Park and Second Valley can be accessed in less than an hour’s drive.
Getting around
Bring your car if you want to go exploring the beautiful beaches and many attractions near by. But many of our guests don’t want to leave the property during their stay! It is simply stunning and provides much to do onsite. Cooking classes, astronomy experiences and guided bush walks to name a few!

How to get there
Located on the ridge line of hills above Victor Harbor, OCRE is easily accessed by car. Heading from Adelaide, take the right hand turn 12 km south of Mt Compass, onto Pambula Road. This is also marked as Myponga turn off. The first road on your left is Old Coach Road and the Estate is down 1km on the left. Enter this stunning property through the wooden gates and the villa is at the end of the 100m driveway.
