The kids will love to explore and feed the menagerie. The big paddock is great for kite, drone flying, kicking a football or chasing sheep. We’ll supply the sheep. Tasmania has the most wonderful bounty of fresh locally grown produce and that is what we serve our guests. Find a spot to enjoy a cheese platter and wine on the veranda after a day of sight seeing and then snuggle up in the Drawing Room in front of the open fire with port and pudding in the evening. Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.

Warm and welcoming
Spent two nights here while attending the Agrarian Kitchen Cooking School close by. Such a beautiful and peaceful location and a house full of character and history with every comfort taken care of. Delicious breakfasts and light suppers kindly prepared by the lovely Lisa. Could easily have stayed a week.

Perfection!
We only stayed at Stanton for one night but wished we'd spent our whole holiday there. It's a beautiful b&b with lovely hosts and everything you could possibly think of. Plus an amazing history. It's so relaxing to spend some time sitting by the fireplace, or take a stroll through the orchard. The perfect place to escape and unwind!
