Dogs: We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs subject to dogs being fully house trained by prior arrangement. (No puppies or incontinent dogs). Additional charge £25 per week 1 dog, £35 for 2 dogs. Dog not to be left unattended in the property. Dogs not allowed on furniture. Owners must take full responsibility for picking up dog mess and depositing it in the dog bin 1 min walk down the road. Dogs to be treated for fleas and worms prior to arrival.

Good position, well appointed and dog friendly.

Very comfortable accommodation in a great village on the edge of Exmoor. We had everything we needed for our Christmas stay for three generations. Champagne and cake greeted us on our arrival. We'll be back.

Beautiful cottage with lovely views

Excellent place to stay, comfortable, spotless and spacious. Great little village, with lots of walks on the doorstep. Many places we didn't have time to visit, so hopefully we'll be returning again before too long.

About the neighbourhood

Porlock is a charming, picturesque village in Exmoor National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Porlock is surrounded by beautiful villages steeped in history, thatched cottages, unique shops, heather moorlands, sparkling streams, and lakes, woodlands, archaeological sites, beaches and dramatic coastline. There is an abundance of footpaths, bridleways and cycling routes within the Exmoor National Park so Porlock is the perfect location from which to enjoy many activities such as wild swimming kayaking, canning, paddle boarding walking, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, horse riding, fishing enjoying nature. The charming historic harbour of Porlock Weir is situated approximately 1.5 miles from Porlock village.
