(Private drive) Decorated and furnished in an eclectic style using new,old and up cycled furnishings creating a comfortable cottage ambiance. Situated close to the banks of River Wansbeck in the picturesque hamlet of Sheepwash, Choppington, Northumberland. Situated on the A1068. With excellent links to the historic market town of Morpeth, Alnwick and beautiful Northumberland coast. Thompsons Buildings is close to the banks of River Wansbeck in the picturesque hamlet of Sheepwash, Choppington, Northumberland. Situated on the A1068. With excellent links to the historic market town of Morpeth and only a fifteen minute drive from Newcastle Upon Tyne. With rail transport links close by and with Newcastle International Airport a short distance away, We are able to provide an excellent base for both a holiday and a business commuter. Northumberland has a magical coastline and some of the most remarkable views and walks that the UK has to offer. Local attractions include the World Heritage site of Hadrians Wall, the Castle and award winning gardens at Alnwick, (famous now for Harry Potter) the castles of Bamburgh & Warkworth
Getting around
The property sits on the A1068, coastal route. Access to the A1 is easy using the new Morpeth Bypass. Rail :- Morpeth has a main line station - 5 miles away. Bus :- Nearest stop is a 10 minute walk away - Direct access to Newcastle, Alnwick, Amble, Blyth, Cramlington and Morpeth. Taxi :- Plenty good local Taxi firms available. Airport :- Newcaslte International - 15 miles away. Walking - Plenty good walks in and around the area. Cycling - Plenty good cycle routes on hand - And we can store cycles.
