Kitchen-diner the electric cooker and hob are built into the chimney breast.

The lounge seating up to  10 people has a wood burning stove which makes it very cosy out of season
The lounge is  overlooking the village green and looks straight out at St  Abbs ancient church
This spacious hall leads up to the family bedroom, bathroom and double bedroom
Family-bedroom it has one double bed and 2 singles with the family bathroom next door.
Double-bedroom on the top floor also next to the family bathroom .plenty of floor space for a cot.
En-suite bedroom  its on the first floor and looks onto the village green. Opposite is the twin room
The house looks out onto St. Ebbs Church which is separated from the house by the village green
ensuite bedroom this room has a  shower,toilet and sink.It is very near the children's bedroom.

This is the family bathroom on the top floor. The shower is over the bath

The multi burner makes the lounge cosy in the winter and also on chilly evenings in Spring or Autumn
The multi burner can burn both coal and logs. It was added in 2012 and is wonderful at Christmastime
The lounge with its wood burning stove accommodates up to 8 adults and 2children
The stone wall behind the fire dates back over 200 years

Situated in the older part of Beadnell overlooking the small village green and ancient church, this large stone-built 18th Century house provides accommodation for up to ten people. It is a large property making it very suitable for family groups. Within half a mile there is the sea shore with an attractive little harbour and beyong this a beautiful sweeping sandy bay with rocky coves. A lovely coastal footpath links Beadnell with Alnmouth and includes some of the finest scenery on the Herritage Coast, with views of the Farne Islands offshore, Dunstanbre Castle to the south and Bambara Castle to the north. There is an outdoor sports centre for wind-surfing, canoeing and sea-fishing in the village, and also several fine golf-courses near by.

The premises were very clean on arrival and the owners are pet friendly and very helpful. Property is well positioned for exploring Northumberland and was comfortable for the seven of us who stayed

The house is situated opposite the ancient church on the village green. As you enter the house the large diner kitchen is to the right with views over the village green. To the left is the large but cosy lounge with a wood burning stove. This room also looks out to the village green and the church. The next floor offers a twin bedroom with a duckers bed that can be pulled out. A great room for children as there are board games and DVD's available. The other bedroom on this floor is a double with its own ensuite facilities. The second floors offers a family room with a double and 2 single beds ,a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a further large double bedroom. The ground floor has a separate toilet off the entrance hall.

Beadnell is an ideal location offering a pub, a cafe and a hotel. The cafe offers free access to the internet and also serves both meals ,drinks and takeaways. There is a children's playground and two beaches. One has rock pools whilst the other is a long sweeping sandy beach with views of Dunstanburgh Castle. There is a well stocked village shop with a fish and chip shop next door in the season. Its a mile and a half walk to Seahouses a livel resort with boats to the Farne Islands. Bamburgh with its famous castle is a further 4 miles.
