It really is the perfect base to explore the Beautiful Northumberland Coast and Castles. Comprising of 2 generously sized bedrooms (1 x double and 1 x twin) perfect for families and couples. The apartment has been tastefully furnished and immaculately maintained throughout.Judith & Peter are the owners and have been awarded a 4 star rating from visit England.Whilst at Bamburgh, why not visit The Farne Islands which is the home of wonderful puffins, seals and whales. Or take a trip to the Famous Alnwick Castle where Harry Potter was filmed. Alnwick Gardens is also a must as are Warkworth & Dunstanburgh Castle which are all within easy reach by...

Pintail apartments FANTASTIC
Had a fabulous stay at the pintail apartment in Bamburgh. Stones throw from castle, beaches and pubs. Apartment was spotless very roomy and everything needed was provided. Loved our stay so much looking at booking again.

Pintail apartment
Bamburgh is the most wonderful place to stay and Pintail apartment is so central for beaches and restaurants. The apartment is very attractive - very spacious, well appointed and has everything you need. The owner was very considerate and helpful, replying to emails quickly. We would love to stay again.

Beautiful apartment
Lovely apartment in the centre of Bamburgh, great location near fabulous town and amazing beaches. The apartment is beautiful, home from home, well equipped and spacious and only a short walk from fantastic fish restaurant.

Lovely apartment, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Situated In a quiet avenue literally 2 mins stroll from Bamburgh village green with pubs & restaurant alongside. Had a wonderful stay with some great walks along the spectacular coastline. Would highly recommend.

Perfect Apartment for a family of 4 in Bamburgh
We really enjoyed our stay at the Pintail apartment in Bamburgh. The apartment was a perfect base for our family of 4 to explore Bamburgh and the surrounding area. We enjoyed our short walk through the village, across the cricket field and then onto the beach every morning. The apartment has everything you need and was in a nice and quiet area. We will definitely be returning back next year.

Perfect accommodation :)
Agree whole heartedly with all the reviews that describe the place as a Home from Home as it truly is.
After a long day exploring Bamburgh and beyond- this apartment is exactly what you need. Comfy sofas, comfy beds, clean, great location- great facilities. Everything you would have at home.
Highly recommended.

A real home from home!
We spent the early May bank holiday weekend at Pintail. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped and it's location is spot-on. It's only a five minute walk to the village centre and castle then a further five minutes to get down to the beach. Judith was very helpful with the information she provided ahead of our stay. It was also a lovely surprise to receive a welcome pack of bubbles, chocolates and a wedding anniversary card. That personal touch and extra thoughtfulness really set this accommodation apart. We will definitely return to Bamburgh and stay at Pintail and I will recommend to all my family and friends.

Fabulous Pintail Apartment
Lovely stay in Bamburgh at the end of January. Spacious accomodation,perfect location, all in all a terrific stay. Will definately stay again and would recommend to friends.
Lots of nice places to eat just on the doorstep. Village within walking distance to apartment.

Excellent!
Fantastic apartment.. Very comfortable, spacious, warm and well furnished. Lots of lovely touches, wine and chocolates (thank you Judith!), but also lots of practical things such as good quality linen/bedding, thoughtful lighting, hand wash/cream at each sink, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, sharp knives and a working tin opener to name a few. I didn't have to get my usual self-catering supply bag out of the car!! We all agreed it was definitely home from home.
Highly recommend the boat trip to the Farne Islands (Serenity Boat Trips) to see seals and puffins- magical! Bamburgh Castle, Lindisfarne and Barter Books in Alnwick all worth a look, but there were loads of other lovely attractions, villages, cafes and pubs. Castle Inn in Bamburgh very good with a good veggie choice.
All in all a great short break and we would definitely stay at Pintail again!

Spacious and Homely Apartment
Stayed with my husband, my daughter and her fiance, for 4 nights. The apartment was spotlessly clean and fresh smelling. Lots of light from the many windows, really comfy beds and two squishy sofas in the sitting room. Everything we needed was there, making it easy to cook a meal, which we did one night and ate out the rest of the time. The apartment is in a brilliant location, just off the main street of the village, but tucked away in a quiet residential area. There is a parking space for the flat but visitor parking also. I would recommend this apartment highly, and would love to return again sometime. Thank you to Judith for your friendliness.
