The majority of the ground floor is taken up by the open-plan reception rooms encompassing the lounge and formal dining area. At the heart of the sleek lounge is a stunning fireplace,complete with roaring wood burner; perfect for cosy nights in during the winter months,as the three sash windows offer incredible views from the comfort of your sofa. Wander through to find the spacious dining room; a lesson in understated elegance as it offers a unique blend of contemporary and traditional styles. Make your way down to the lower ground floor to make use of the country kitchen complete with all the mod cons you'll need during your stay along with an informal dining area. The first of four bedrooms is located on the ground floor,home to a lavish king-size bed and soft furnishings to create a wonderful oasis. The remaining three bedrooms are set on the first floor,the master is a super king-size complete with original fireplace and plush furnishings alongside a lavish en-suite. The third bedroom is another king-size with the fourth,a charming twin. The family bathroom is a grand and spacious room complete with his and her sinks,a beautiful cast iron bathtub; ideal for long soaks and a walk-in shower. There's an additional W/C on the lower ground floor. There is much to be appreciated outside also,within the extensive grounds you will find a large lawned garden and your very own private river frontage. Head down to the riverside terrace and soak up your tranquil surroundings as you sink into the rattan sofa. What's more,an Indian Kadai fire-pit allows you to enjoy the outside space well into the evening as well as doubling up as a BBQ so you can cook up a storm for the entire family to enjoy. The house offers plenty of off-road parking. More
