The kitchen is very well-equipped, with shower room off. Outside there is a little patio, with your own table and chairs, ideally positioned to admire the terrific views over nearby pasture towards the fells. You also have use of the owner's lovely garden and there are great walks direct from the door. One dog welcome, free wifi, fuel for the stove included, as is all linen and towels. Did we mention the views? Stunning scenery all around, walks from the door and snug accommodation, perfect for those who appreciate unspoilt countryside at its very best! Sleeps 2, one dog welcome, free wifi, parking, sorry, no smoking. Changeover day is normally Saturday, although there may be flexibility, please enquire.More

My wife and I have just spent 3 wonderful nights here at the Byre in Arkengarthdale, It is a lovely little cottage up high on the moors On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to see that Shirley who lives next door had lit the fire...More
