Curious Cottage is a charming holiday home in the heart of the conservation area of Deal. Just 50 yards’ walk to the beach and a few more minutes walk to the historic high street, with its independent shops, bars and cafes. The owners have provided everything guests need for a comfortable stay. The lovely enclosed courtyard offers a quiet and private place to enjoy a drink or BBQ after a day out and about exploring the local area. The owners’ welcome dogs as well, and there are lovely walks from the house to Sandwich in one direction and Kingsdown in another. Allocated parking space available to guests. Property Description Ground Floor Entrance Entrance to the cottage is through a side gate and into a small, but perfectly formed courtyard garden with an outdoor table and chairs for 4 guests. There is also a fire pit and BBQ available to guests. Utility room Utility room with a washing machine, dryer and downstairs bathroom. Kitchen Well-equipped kitchen with a gas hob, double oven, microwave, dishwasher and electric kettle. The kitchen has a large variety of cooking utensils and a cafetiere. Just through the kitchen is a SMEG fridge/freezer. Sitting room / Dining room Open plan sitting / dining room. The dining area has a table and 4 chairs. The sitting room seats 4 with a 3-seater sofa and armchair and smart TV. The room is well lit with a few side lights. First floor Wooden staircase leads on from the sitting room. The wooden staircase is not particularly steep. Bedroom one Bedroom - Sleeps 2, with a king-size bed, chest of draws and wardrobe. The bedroom also has two bedside tables and side lamps. Bathroom Enter the hallway on the right is a stylish bathroom with a bathtub and hand held shower head, cabinet with mirror, sink, toilet and large radiator. Through the hallway and down two small steps is: Bedroom two Bedroom - Sleeps 2, with children's bunk beds. The bedroom also has a small wardrobe. Please note that the bunk beds are only suitable for children and the top bunk is quite close to the celling. Parking There is an allocated parking available to guests at the cottage. Things You Need to Know Towels and linen are provided. Dogs are welcome. Please note additional pet charges are £25. There is an enclosed courtyard as you enter the property with seating. Wi-Fi access. Central heating throughout. Private parking for guests at the cottage. The BBQ is charcoal. Logs for the outdoor fire pit can be provided upon request. House Rules We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit. Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests. Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time. Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house. For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property. Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am. Parties and loud music are not permitted.
