Walks along the south coast 3 miles away offer chances to find fossils and dinosaur footprints. Low light pollution and wide views give great opportunities to observe the night sky. Ground source heat pump and hot water. 2 ground floor bedrooms, one with 5ft bed and door to patio, one with twin beds,share family bathroom with shower over bath. 2 upstairs bedrooms , one with 6ft bed and en suite bath, one with twin beds + guest bed and en suite shower. Large living space, dining and kitchen (ceramic hob - NEW for 2014 - and oven, microwave, fridge) area giving onto garden room with large patio doors enabling wheelchair access. Utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, freezer. Entrance through utility room ideal for muddy- booted walkers, cyclists, children and dogs! Good washing and drying facilities. Room to store golf clubs, fishing gear and some bikes. High chairs and cot provided free of charge. Secluded garden with sunny patio equipped with dining table and relaxing chairs, barbecue. Shady front verandah for when the hot summer arrives! Parking for 3 cars, but steep drive not suitable for all. 2 bedrooms upstairs or 2 downstairs may be shut , to accommodate smaller groups whilst keeping the large living space. One bedroom upstairs ensuite with bath with shower over, has a 6ft bed which may besplit into twin divan. Twin room upstairs has 3rd bed and ensuite shower room. Walkers, cyclist, golfers and outdoor pursuits enthusiasts appreciate the utility room for storage and drying facilities. One downstairs bedroom with 5ft bed may be accessed through door from patio, useful for a wheelchair. From this room, large living space is accessible in a wheelchair. A private gardenand patio provides for barbecues and outdoor meals. The ground source heat pump and eco credentials allow winter holidays and year round heating.

Nearest Travel Links Airport: Southampton: 50 km Railway: Lymington: 10 km Ferry: Yarmouth: 3 km Ferries to the Isle of Wight are available from Wightlink from Lymington to Yarmouth and Portsmouth to Ryde. Red Funnel provide a service from Southampton to Cowes. We can provide discounted fares as part of your holiday. Southampton Airport is served by rail using the Southampton Airport Parkway station. The ferries have excellent rail links. For Lymington use Lymington Pier station. The station is opposite the ferry terminal. For Southampton use Southampton Central. There is a free shuttle bus to West Quay for the ferry. For the Portsmouth service use Portsmouth Harbour station. The ferry terminal is at the end of the train platform. The property is has a Southern Vectis bus passing everyhour from 06:00 until midnight.
